Thermoelectric Generator Module

TEG, short for thermoelectric generator is mainly used in low power remote applications as well as where it is not possible to use efficient heat engines. A thermoelectric generator module is a circuit that comprises thermoelectric materials that work to generate electricity directly from heat. The ends of n-type (negatively charged) semiconductor and a p-type (positively charged) semiconductor are joined in the module. When the temperate of the ends of these two opposite thermoelectric materials differs, a direct electric current flows in the circuit. Our company, Thermal Electronics Corp. fabricates 400°C-600°C high efficiency TEG modules as well as TEG1-1263-4.3, TEG1-1268-4.3 and PBTAGS-200.004A thermoelectric generator modules. These can work in tough thermal and mechanical conditions during power generation.
